Professor of Applied Science and Chair of the Civil Engineering program at UBC Okanagan, Dr Liu’s research includes non-destructive inspection & evaluation, condition assessment, predictive maintenance, data/information fusion, pattern recognition, machine learning, and sensor/sensor network, and digital twin computing.
President and CFO of D-Pace, a supplier of particle accelerator components to industry and research clients worldwide, Kent brings decades of manufacturing experience and knowledge of the electrical utilities and power generation sectors to the CRWN team.
With a history of guiding technology companies to success, including the expansion of a Kelownabased
IoT startup into a $40 million company, Barry brings his experience in business leadership
and technology development to the CRWN team to lead the push to commercialization.
